At the Beach

I have not posted in FOREVER! I hope that I can be forgiven. It's been crazy!

We are in Gulf Shores this week enjoying the beautiful sunshine and family. I am here with Darby's mom & dad and the kids. Don't say it....my in-laws really are fabulous. I am truly blessed to have such a great relationship with them. I know that this is not the norm but God am I grateful! They live in Chattanooga and are here with us all week. We have family in Foley & Fairhope so this is the perfect place to be to enjoy the company.

We are staying at the Lighthouse and it has an indoor pool so that's where the kids would prefer to be! They love it. It was so beautiful here yesterday. Really warm and sunny. We had lunch at Lulu's and got to see the capuchin monkey Lulu. The kids held her and she got up on my shoulder and pulled my hair around her head. It was so funny! Then we went to the Gulf Coast Zoo. That is the zoo that is on the Animal Planet: The Little Zoo that Could. It's a neat place and we fed lots of animals. The goats took Andrew's cup of zoo food away from him and he just looked at the goats and did not know what to do. It became a goat feeding frenzy and I stuck my hand in to fetch out the cup. I am glad to still have all my fingers. They sure are pushy little things. In addition to the goat issue I was peed on by a rabbit that Andrew & I were following. Guess he, the rabbit not Andrew, was scared and peed backwards. Not sure how that happened but it did.

We are going to Lulu's again on Friday night to celebrate Andrew's birthday...again. He LOVES Lulu's. It's fun for us to go there thanks to Aunt Debra. She makes my kids so rotten. They sure do love her! Will post some photos when the kids get back from the pool. Grammy Shay has the camera and since I am on her laptop I am not familiar on what to do!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and may God bless you all in so many way! Love you!!!!

Hey girl! Thanks for the advice about the tummy issues! I bet Luke will still have the hiccups too when he is Syd & Andrew's age...he has them at least once a day now! I would really love to come see you! I think I still remember how to get to your house. Maybe we can plan to get over there one day? Have a good one & I miss you!
